JOINT IDO — GotEM: Relying on Ordinary People to do Extraordinary Things
In the ever-changing world, the only constant is change. Through breakthroughs in information technology and the internet, it has changed the way how we receive information and how data can utilized. Whilst convenience and knowledge grew exponentially, it also spurred and unprecedented growth in crime and fraud.
Today, we witness an increasingly decentralized and privacy-driven approach such as VPNs, TOR and now blockchain. On one hand, it encourages privacy and helps avoid unwanted prying eyes, but on the other hand, it is much more difficult for law enforcement and governments to maintain order and pursue digital crimes such as digital theft, identity theft, digital money-laundering, and all forms of illicit hacking. The world needs a system of checks and balances — a network which the general populous can rely on to even the playing field.
Getting them? Got ’em.
Founded in 2015 by a fully Doxxed team (Originally called MeetMySpy) GotEM aims to connects those in need with a network of private detectives, cyber detectives, and private security specialists, and enables direct fundraising for missions. With user-based review and rating system also provide trust and built-in incentives for the best interests of customers.
The GotEM platform hopes to empower the masses to harness the power of the masses by initiating global crowdfunding and crowdsourcing to launch private investigations into cases of abuse of authority, corruption, human rights abuses, police brutality, frauds, robberies and likes. It is hoped that NGOs and Governments can further rely on such resources for humanitarian missions required to maintain peace and the Rights to Live.
